So, now you have all these diapers, wet bags, and cloth baby wipes. What do you actually do when you need to clean up one of these fun little messes.....
Time to make a wipe solution!
In a pinch, just some warm water will do. I like to have something ready made for my little ones bottom the rest of the time.

Things you will need:
Cloth Baby Wipes (20)
Warm Water
Tea Tree Essential Oil
Lavender Essential Oil
Mothers Milk (or other oil of your choice)
Baby Wipe Container (also of your choice)
Measuring Cup
I started out with a plastic wipe container that I had recieved with wipes at my baby shower. It worked out quite well because I could easily reach my hand through the top opening and even grab the last wipe in the bottom. I held onto three of them and used them in my rotation. Any other container you have that will not leak water will work. You can also use your wipe warmers the same way.
Fold/Layer/Stack your wipes however you prefer to fill the container.
Use your measuring cup to fill to the one cup mark with warm water. Put 5 drops of each of your oils in the warm water and swirl around to mix. (***VERY IMPORTANT*** Most essential oils can burn the skin very easily. Tea Tree and Lavendar are the only essential oils that can be safely applied to the skin of most people. Baby skin is much more sensitive than adult skin, so you still have to be careful. Ask your doctor if you have any concerns. Test on a small area of skin in a less sensitive area first. Possibly try one or two drops the first few times***)
Pour the contents of the measuring cup over the wipes in the container. You can flip and separate the stack to help the stack thouroughly saturate with the water mixture. Squeeze out any excess water and place your lid.
Really? Thats it? You are all done!
This has been my method for two years now. Tea Tree and Lavender are antibacterial and anti fungal, so don't worry about them growing bacteria in the container. It isn't like it sits for more than a few days anyways! I also decided not to use any type of soap product in my wipe solution. I was not rinsing his bottom, and it seemed like a lot of soap residue would be left. For the diaper bag I got a small spray bottle that has water and a few drops of the oils in it. I keep dry wipes in the bag with the bottle, and just spray the solution directly on the skin or on the wipe. Whichever you prefer to do.
